Blackwell's are honoured to be hosting this panel event during academic book week. Joining us to explore the question of what do academic books have to offer the arts? is an esteemed panel of academic authors whose books have crossed the boundary between academic and general readership to good reception: Andrew Biswell, director of the International Anthony Burgess Foundation and author of The Real Life of Anthony Burgess, Kate Random Love (Fandom as Methodology), Phil Davis (Reading for Life) and Tom McLeish (The Poetry and Music of Science: Comparing Creativity in Science and Art). The evening will be hosted by Matthew Frost, senior commissioning editor at Manchester University Press. Tickets are free but do please register your interest in advance.
